Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing Vidict. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy (this “Policy”) describes when and how you may request a refund for licenses, software, and services purchased from Vidict through our website www.vidict.net and related sites (including all related webpages and sites, the “Site”), for use of Vidict software and mobile device applications (collectively, the “Software”), and for services provided or resold by Vidict (each, a “Service”). By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the terms of this Policy. Your purchase, and any controversy or dispute related to a refund request, is subject to this Policy, along with other applicable terms and conditions, including limitations on damages and resolution of disputes (the applicable End User License Agreement for Software, for example), which are incorporated by reference into this Policy.

1. Refund eligibility

Vidict offers a 7-day refund window from the date of purchase, provided that all of the following conditions are met:

  1. The license has not been activated or used on any device or server.
  2. No content has been streamed, encoded, distributed, or otherwise processed using the Software or Service.
  3. The refund request is submitted within 7 calendar days of the original purchase date.

If all of the above conditions are met, you are entitled to a full refund of the purchase amount, minus any non-refundable processing fees charged by our payment provider, where applicable.

2. Non-refundable purchases

Certain purchases are not eligible for a refund. These include, but are not limited to:

  1. Licenses that have already been activated or used.
  2. Daily licenses, due to their short-term nature.
  3. Purchases older than 7 days from the original transaction date.
  4. Renewals of previously active licenses or subscriptions.
  5. Custom integrations, consulting work, or development hours that have already been performed by Vidict.

3. How to request a refund

To request a refund, please send a detailed message to info@vidict.net including the following information:

  1. The email address used at checkout.
  2. The order or transaction ID from your confirmation email.
  3. The product or license you purchased.
  4. A brief explanation of the reason for your request.

We will review your request and respond within 3 business days. Providing complete information up front helps us process your request more quickly.

4. Refund processing

Once a refund is approved, it will be processed back to the original payment method used at checkout. Refunds typically appear on your statement within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your payment provider and bank. Refunds are issued in the same currency as the original purchase. Vidict is not responsible for currency exchange rate fluctuations between the time of purchase and the time of refund.

5. EU consumers — right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you may have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under applicable consumer protection laws. This right may not apply to digital content or software delivered immediately, if you have expressly consented to immediate delivery and acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal upon doing so. Where the statutory 14-day withdrawal right applies, it takes precedence over the 7-day window described in Section 1.

6. Technical issues

If your license, Software, or Service is not working as described due to a verified technical issue caused by Vidict, please contact our support team before requesting a refund. In most cases, we can resolve technical problems quickly. If we are unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe, you may be eligible for a refund or a replacement license, regardless of the 7-day window described in Section 1.

7. Chargebacks

We ask that you contact us before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your bank or card issuer. In most cases, we can resolve issues directly, and more quickly than the dispute process allows. Accounts associated with unresolved or unjustified chargebacks may be suspended pending investigation.

8. Updates to this Policy

Vidict may update this Policy occasionally to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we update this Policy, we will update www.vidict.net/refund-policy and, depending on our view of the significance of the update, may send an email to affected users notifying them of the change. Purchases are governed by the version of this Policy in effect at the time of the transaction. Your continued use of the Site, Software, or Services following such an update indicates your acceptance of the updated Policy.
